From 1999 to 2008 John Michaels traveled throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, working with the National Child Safety Council and the National Fire Safety Council performing as "Johnny Magic," combining magic with an important safety message and performing over 2,500 school show assemblies.
Prior to that, John Michaels performed his own school assembly programs.
